Claire Hawkins has brought her unique Americana sound across the globe.
She wrote her latest single Oh Daisy during her time as an artist-in-residence in France. In 2023 she was selected for the prestigious Odyssée Artist-in-Residence Program, where she was funded by the French Ministry of Culture and the Association des Centres Culturels de Rencontre to spend a month in Southern France working on an original songwriting project. Oh Daisy is the first of several new releases from Hawkins’s time in France.
When Hawkins is not on the road, she splits her time between Dublin, Ireland and her hometown of New York City. She has graced the stages of iconic venues such as Mercury Lounge, The Bitter End, and Whelan’s.
In addition to her extensive performance schedule, Hawkins shares her music online in culture-forward travel videos, highlighting her experiences on the road as an independent musician. Her YouTube channel has amassed more than 2 million views and over 20,000 subscribers from all over the world.
Graduate of NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Hawkins has released three EPs and multiple singles. Community and connection are the heart of the work that Hawkins does. As she travels the globe with her songs, Hawkins hopes to bring people together, in the way that only music can.
